About Me

Ortal Arias is an actress with a wide range and versatility. 

During high school Ortal participated in the theater speciality program in which she co produced, choreographed, and performed as a lead in musical performance of the play “8 women”.   Ortal is now attending the conservatory at The Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute and had studied with David Strasberg, Lola Cohen, Lorca Peres, Ted Zurkowski and more.  Dancer of many styles, Ortal dances Belly dance, modern, salsa, bachata, hip hop, merengue, samba, lambada, etc. A Mezzo singer with a wide range, Ortal sings Opera, Jazz, pop. And has the ability to sing seamlessly in many languages. 

Ortal speaks Hebrew, English, and Spanish fluently and can read, write and speak Italian, and Russian. And learning languages is a constant hobby. 

When Ortal came to New York City after her military service in the Israeli Air Force,  She performed in several off broadway shows such as- Shakespeare’s Mid Summer’s Night Dream, The corporate secretaries , Henry Episode IV – A New Hope. And in sketch comedy shows- A Sketch of New York, Our New York. 

Ortal worked in the short films “A girl’s first date”, “Make me laugh”, “Diana” , “The change up”  and has a credit as an Assistant Director on the film “Amnesia” 

Ortal also have the experience modeling in New York City’s fashion week, Print, photoshoots, commercials, and other runway shows in NYC. 

Ortal can be seen in Music Videos such as – Norah Jones- Christmas Calling, J Balvin- No Es Justo, Eminem- Godzilla.

In 2021 Ortal published her first single “Let It Go” and the song is playing on all music platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, amazon music, Tidal, etc. 

In her free time Ortal enjoys working out, practicing Muay-Thai, Reading plays, listening to music, writing songs,  watching movies, dancing, and spending precious time with family and friends.
